Lindsay M. Crippen Draws on her Experiences in Pet Care and Business Management to Run her Own Animal Hospital
CASTLE ROCK, CO, March 29, 2010 /Surgery PR News/ --Lindsay M. Crippen, Veterinarian and Owner of Animal Care Center, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in veterinary medicine.
Drawing on her experiences in veterinary medicine and business management, Dr. Lindsay M. Crippen became a part of the Animal Care Center in 2008. A bona fide animal lover, she places emphasis on working closely with her clients, educating them and caring for their pets as though they were her own. Dr. Crippen unofficially began her career in animal care as a "kennel kid" assisting veterinarians; she later earned her stripes as an emergency and critical care doctor on the overnight shifts until she worked her way into the daytime shift as a general practitioner.
While pursuing her degree, Dr. Crippen worked as an office manager for Lambspun of Colorado, a fiber arts company where she gained the invaluable business experience and confidence that she needed to one day open her own animal hospital. She considers Animal Care Center to be the fulfillment of a long-cherished dream, and attributes her success to the support that she receives from her parents.
Dr. Crippen earned her Master of Business Administration in 2007 from the University of Colorado Denver, her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2003 from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine, and her Bachelor's Degree from Colorado State University. Her professional affiliations include the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association, the Animal Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association.
