Dr. Sorensen is responsible for running a full urological practice. In addition to treating patients for various conditions, he provides consultation to physicians and hospitals. Dr. Sorensen specializes in treating kidney stones as well as offering minimally invasive High Intensity Focused Ultrasound therapy in the treatment of prostate cancer patients.
During his collegiate career, Dr. Sorensen earned his Medical Degree from the University of Western Ontario, and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics. He is General Medicine Licensed in Washington, California, Michigan and Ontario. Dr. Sorensen is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Canada. He is a member of the Canadian Medical Association, Ontario Medical Association, American Urological Association, Michigan Urological Association, and the Society of Urological Surgeons of Ontario. He speaks internationally on the subject of prostate cancer.
